Does Experience Lead to Problems

30.11.2022

You may have heard that "Wisdom comes from experience."  This is not natural or given; it takes effort to reflect, learn, and apply past experiences.  Experiences can lead to problems. We unknowingly become imprisoned by approaches/views of chronic problems.  We focus more on protecting and preserving vs. creating new possibilities.  We become trapped by all the complexity in our lives.    By Eric Papp

Gratitude

Most advertisements and social media are unconscious seeds that plant the thought, "What we have isn't enough." And then, we think from a state of comparison: A proven way to being unhappy. Hope creates excitement for our future.   By Eric Papp

Being Thankful

November and December are great times of the year to acknowledge all of our blessings. Some are visible, and many are invisible. In addition to counting our blessings, we should focus on making our blessings count. How can you do this? By Eric Papp

Power of Perseverance

18.11.2022

The past three years have been a great reminder that perseverance is the #1 skill for people and organizations to overcome challenges and adapt to new ways of doing business. Change can be uncomfortable and unpredictable. And if not appropriately addressed, apathy and procrastination set it in. In addition, external events can shake the confidence of successful organizations and cause fear and anxiety. Calm is contagious. Remaining steadfast toward your goals amid life's storms, drawing strength from each other, and focusing on short victories will build the grit to handle any future challenge. By Eric Papp

Humans Lead With Belief

16.11.2022

Before we take action, we answer this question internally, Will my efforts be rewarded?  This is one of the reasons why it can be hard to start something new because "success" is not guaranteed.  What if we asked this question instead?  What if I did _______ for 30 days and didn't focus on the result?
